Iván Boscán is the Managing Director (2018) and Co-founder of OSCORP TECHNOLOGY INC and Editor-in-Chief of the digital magazine “World Energy Trade”.

24 years of experience in the field of Information Technology. Extensive experience in the implementation and integration of Information Systems: Scadas Systems (Valmet) and Distributed Control Systems (Foxboro and TDC3000). In charge of Maintenance, Support and Training for users of the systems.

Information Systems Coordinator (IS) at SINCOR (Joint Venture Oil Company in Venezuela). Responsible for the support and maintenance of the SINCOR Upgrade Information Systems, and for providing support for systems such as: Real-Time Database (RTIS-PI, Plant Information), Crude Yield Accounting System and Mass Balance (Sigmafine ), Laboratory System (LIMS), Data Integration Platform (m: Pro), Datawarehousing and Intranet / Internet architecture applications (.NET).

He obtained a Master’s degree in Management Informatics (2007), where he proposed as a degree project a solution proposal to the Plant Maintenance Management at SINCOR, entitled “Integrated Reliability Platform for Plant Maintenance”.
